Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Description

Performs essential functions related to material delivery to set up assembly for success. Meets or exceeds operational objectives. Supports Production and Quality with operational issues when needed. Participates with Materials, Planning and Purchasing on assigned tasks or projects.

Scope

The position requires sound aptitude, desire, and determination to maximize productivity with minimal direct supervision. The ability to learn new systems and protect the integrity of these systems is essential. Position requires good organizational skills and discipline. Position requires maintaining Forklift Operator Certification and strong demonstrated safety skills. Physical attributes include a high degree of mobility and agility, capable of lifting and moving 40# items and the ability to work on ladders and elevated platforms. On-the-job training will be primary means to acquire knowledge and keep skills current. Some training may be conducted through offsite training courses, seminars, vo-tech classes, etc. Position requires minimum of High School Graduate level academic standards for reading and mathematics. Position requires medium level computer, penmanship, and communication skills. Incumbent is expected to work well with others, promote harmony in the workplace, and convey a positive can-do attitude. Position requires better than average attendance and reasonable over-time participation, often with short notice.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to Safety through all actions and behaviors.
• Follow RegalRexnord commitment to Quality.
• Stock, organize, and maintain Six Sigma in the Warehouse and all other designated storage areas.
• Perform material picks and transfers.
• Conduct required cycle count procedures including adjustments, corrections, and documentation.
• Conduct special inventories as requested.
• Crosstrain to be able to perform shipping and receiving functions.
• Load and Unload trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Maintain computer system files, data entry and adjustments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Deliver materials to production and all other departments as needed.
• Maintain Locator System for the Warehouse.
• Conduct equipment safety inspections and report all potential problems.
• Assist other Material Handlers when needed.
• Fill-in for Team Leader when asked.
• Operate company vehicles for business related missions.
• All other tasks assigned.
