Cycle Counter

About the role

Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Work cross-functionally, becoming a subject-matter-expert in multiple areas of each department.

Requirements

• 1+ year of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of retail or distribution center operations.
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work overtime when required/some weekends.
• Able to follow direction and multi-task.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Education

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
