Cycle Count Material Technician FT - 1st Shift

About the role

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies runs the business operations of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in the Americas. As part of the global Freudenberg Group, the company is a leading producer of advanced sealing technologies for automotive and general industries. It is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, headquartered in Plymouth, MI, operates more than 20 facilities and employs about 4,700 people across the Americas. This position is based on‑site in Milan, OH.

Responsibilities

• Processes count worksheets, cycle count requests, and miscellaneous audits.
• Reviews activity and inventory transaction history screens to locate inventory errors.
• Records information for the purposes of adjustment.
• Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality system either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
• Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
• Working knowledge of a computer and its general use to accomplish basic transactions.
• Understanding of FIFO and stock location integrity.
• Able to read shipping instructions and production orders, and to accurately use weigh counting scales, label printers, and miscellaneous clerical supplies.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Possess good communication skills.
