Responsibilities
- Verify, replace, and monitor materials at the press
- Assure that 2 hours' worth of material is available for the following shift
- Maintain cleanliness of press beds, material areas, under mold, and back side of presses
- Monitor and clean grinders and hoppers
- Perform general maintenance of loaders, filters, and blender equipment
- Stop machines to perform material changeovers for color changes or mold changes
- Purge new material for color changes or mold changes
- Assure that material changes are complete prior to the end of mold or color change
- Take care of scrap at machines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to operate a Hilo
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Experience as a Hilo driver
- High School Diploma or GED
