Material Technician First shift

Responsibilities

• Verifies and organizes distribution of incoming/outgoing products.
• Prepares related shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintains the shipping/receiving area in an orderly condition.
• Maintains records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse.
• Prepares shipping documents along with correct mailing labels and ensures all orders are correctly fulfilled.
• Reconciles waybill, bill of lading with bill of materials and actual shipment arrivals.
• Ensures goods delivered to the warehouse match approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or related field; automotive experience is a plus.
• Inventory experience, including ability to apply Min/Max method.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement.
• Data Entry experience; proficiency in SAP and ability to work in other WMS or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills and prior client-facing customer service experience.
• Ability to walk on concrete plant floors for prolonged periods while performing job duties.

Schedule

First shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
