About the role

The position involves developing and delivering curriculum for various cyber training programs at the USSF Guardian facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating training materials, conducting classroom instruction, and facilitating exercises and wargames.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update training materials for cyber operations, including courses on missile warning, joint warfighting, exercises/wargaming, and space fundamentals.
  • Conduct classroom instruction and facilitate hands-on exercises and wargames.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date training content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging cyber threats and incorporate new knowledge into training materials.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as cybersecurity, education, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including curriculum development and classroom instruction.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with wargaming and exercises facilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of military operations and doctrine.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning theories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

  • Estimated annual salary of $149,182 for the Missile Warning Instructor/Curriculum Developer role.
  • Estimated annual salary of $130,257 for the Joint Warfighting Instructor/Curriculum Developer role.
  • Estimated annual salary of $155,368 for the Exercises/Wargaming Instructor/Curriculum Developer role.
  • Estimated annual salary of $185,535 for the Space Fundamentals Instructor/Curriculum Developer role.
