Cybersecurity Senior Engineer - IT Endpoint Engineering (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer - IT Endpoint Engineering (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will focus on endpoint security engineering across a large enterprise environment, with an emphasis on automation, threat hunting, and defensive capability improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to monitor endpoint health, support access-related security controls, and strengthen the organization’s ability to detect and respond to malicious activity. The position also includes platform maintenance, operational support, and on-call responsibilities tied to keeping critical security tooling current and effective. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000 annually Responsibilities Design and implement automation workflows for data collection and incident response Develop threat hunting strategies and capabilities Propose new technologies and methodologies for detecting malicious activity Monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management Support routine upgrades and platform maintenance during on-call rotations Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms like Tanium, SCCM, or Intune Experience deploying software and patches across large environments Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis Experience in scripting or automation, such as PowerShell or Python Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering organization Benefits No travel required for the position Comfortable indoor working environment with minimal unpleasant conditions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
