About the role

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues to conduct Mission Relevant Terrain Cyberspace activities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and categorize Task Critical Assets (TCAs) and related cyberspace dependencies supporting mission operations.
  • Perform both physical and logical MRT-C mapping, documenting devices, links, services, applications, protocols, OS, hardware, software, and external infrastructure critical to mission execution.
  • Conduct programmatic cyber risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Identify critical information flows, associated hazards, vulnerabilities, mitigations, and unacceptable mission losses.
  • Produce required MRT-C deliverables, including in and out briefs, background mission information, risk analysis, and asset defense strategy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related programs
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, cyber threat intelligence, risk analysis, risk management framework, secure architecture, and networking
  • Knowledge of Space missions including missile warning, missile defense, and missile track programs
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification such as Security+, GSEC, or CSSLP Certification

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related programs
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies including vulnerability scanning, network packet analysis, and log review
  • Ability to provide senior level briefing to military or civilian leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
  • DoD 8140 Advanced Certification such as CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, GDSA, or CCNP Certification

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model:

  • Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
