About the role

The Cybersecurity IT Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing complex IT projects within a high-stakes cybersecurity environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in program management methodologies, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of IT projects, including risk management and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects in a cybersecurity context.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote/flexible work environment.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and security best practices.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
