About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer will resolve complex information assurance challenges and integrate cutting-edge electronic processes to tackle total system and technology problems inherent to Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize analytical and systematic problem-solving skills to address intricate workflow, organizational, and planning issues.
• Provide security engineering support—from planning and design to development, testing, demonstration, and integration of sophisticated information systems.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Secret Clearance.
• Eligible for IT I.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS.
• Four (4) years of experience creating customized signatures using SNORT.

Qualifications

• Trellix IPS manager.
• Check Point IPS Blade.
