Cybersecurity Systems Engineer III

About the role

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity systems to protect company data and networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Monitor network traffic and identify potential threats
• Perform vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system integration
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
• CISSP certification preferred

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with network security tools and technologies

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience with cloud-based security solutions
• Understanding of encryption techniques and protocols
