Cybersecurity Associate – Flexible Location
About the role
The role involves assisting two partners in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions, reviewing policies and procedures, compliance management system infrastructure, and risk management systems. It also includes analysis of various financial services statutes and regulations to support client regulatory expectations in areas such as payments, lending, debt collection, mortgage servicing for banks and non-banking institutions, and assistance in providing regulatory due diligence for M&A financial services transactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions
- Review policies and procedures, compliance management system infrastructure, and risk management systems
- Analyze various financial services statutes and regulations to support client regulatory expectations
- Provide regulatory due diligence for M&A financial services transactions
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in banking and financial services regulatory and compliance
- Strong subject matter expertise in financial services regulation
- Extensive legal research and analytical/critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Direct interaction with clients and regulators
Qualifications
- Licensed in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in supporting and contributing to business development initiatives

Pay
$200,000 - $220,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule.
