Cybersecurity Associate – Flexible Location
About the role
Clark Hill is seeking a Cybersecurity Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. Candidates should have experience in privacy, cybersecurity, internet, and computer law. A technical background or general understanding of technology and electronic systems is required. Experience in data security incident notification and breach response is also necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on cybersecurity issues
- Assist in drafting and reviewing cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Respond to data security incidents and breaches
- Work closely with clients to manage legal risks related to technology
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity trends
Requirements
- Currently licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in privacy, cybersecurity, internet, and computer law
- A technical background or general understanding of technology and electronic systems
- Data security incident notification and breach response experience
- Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible to respond to urgent matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Client management and crisis management skills
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

Pay
The salary range at the time of posting is $175,000 - $185,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
