About the role
This position will augment an existing dataflow team responsible for Data Flow Management and mission-critical data distribution efforts supporting enterprise-level operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, troubleshoot, and modernize complex data flows within a high-ingest analytic environment.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to manage, optimize, troubleshoot, and modernize complex data flows within a high-ingest analytic environment.
- Support data flow engineering initiatives and working with Apache NiFi or similar dataflow technologies.
- Support development and maintenance of mission systems and customer tools.
- Support high-ingest cloud-based content and metadata architectures.
- Support analytic platforms supporting enterprise-wide developer and operator productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Seventeen (17) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Highly Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting data governance processes including DMRs, DLMS, DSW, and DART.
- Experience supporting security and compliance requirements related to data handling.
- Experience with access control and catalog labeling processes.
- Experience supporting dataflow engineering or Apache NiFi environments.
