Sr. Software Engineer TS/SCI Polygraph
About the role
This position offers an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic team developing a large complex enterprise system. The role requires a strong background in Java, Python, and embedded C/C++, with experience in BDD and DevOps automation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and study complex system requirements
- Implement robust testing using DevOps automation and test automation tools
- Develop server-side business logic and client web applications
- Write automation scripts and deploy to test/production environments
- Manage software processes and collaborate with cross-program teams
- Engage in Agile practices such as pair programming, TDD, refactoring, and ATDD
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with relevant experience
- 12-15 years of relevant experience or 10-13 years with a Master’s degree
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, JTA, JAX-B, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and multiple Java frameworks
- Experience with multiple languages such as JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, and SQL
- Knowledge of databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server
- Experience with web application UI development, Spring Framework, and AngularJS
- Experience with software source control and configuration management tools
- Experience with cryptographic systems, XML/XSD/SOAP/WSDL/XSLT, REST, JSON, YAML, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Experience with testing and mocking frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, and Selenium
- Experience with build tools like Maven, CMake, Jenkins, and Nexus
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and SAFe Agilest Certification
Qualifications
- BS degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or MS degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) frameworks like EJB, JPA, JTA, JAX-B, JAX-RS, JAX-WS
- Experience with application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, and JBoss
- Experience with Spring framework, scripting, and web services
- Experience with XML/XSD/SOAP/WSDL/XSLT, REST, JSON, YAML, and containers
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, Bootstrap, and JQuery
- Experience with testing and mocking frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, and Karma
- Experience with build tools like Maven, CMake, Jenkins, and Nexus
- Experience with high-level requirements management, secure systems engineering, and continuous integration
- Experience with Agile practices such as pair programming, TDD, refactoring, and ATDD
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience with secure software development (Layer 7 Policy)

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 annually. The actual salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
