About the role
Responsible for monitoring and responding to cyber threats in real-time, ensuring the security of the organization’s systems and data.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security events in real-time
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance security posture
- Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred
- Experience with incident response and forensics
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
