Cyber Security Operations Specialist (CSOC Tier III)

About the role

Provide 24x7x365 Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) tiered services, including coordination, execution, and implementation of containment, eradication, and recovery measures for events and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Incident handling and incident response
• Malware analysis and signature development
• Forensic artifact handling and analysis
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
• BA/BS Degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• Minimum of six (6) years of related work experience
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (current); must obtain/maintain CSSP Incident Responder certification within 120 days of start date
• Ability to work one (1) or more of five (5) work shifts

Skills

• TCP/IP and network protocols
• Protocol analyzers
• Cyber Attack Lifecycle and Mitre Attack framework
• Obfuscation techniques (e.g., base64, rot13, XOR, URL encoding)
• Utilizing SIEM for event analysis

Pay

Starting salary range: $110,000 to $115,000 (commensurate with experience).
