About the role

The Cyber Security Operations Specialist III - CSOC Tier 3 is responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents in real-time, supporting incident response efforts, and maintaining a high level of vigilance against potential threats.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from various sources.
  • Respond to security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective incident response and containment.
  • Document findings and actions taken during incident handling.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies relevant to cybersecurity operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or related field.
  • Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of common attack vectors and techniques used by cyber adversaries.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with incident response frameworks such as NIST or DISA STIGs.
  • Hands-on experience with network security devices and protocols.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and practices.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
