About the role

The Cyber Security Operations Specialist Tier 3 position at D2 Technical Services requires a security clearance. This role is based in Springfield, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Conducts threat analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Monitors network traffic and implements security controls
• Responds to security incidents and performs incident response activities
• Develops and maintains security policies and procedures
• Collaborates with other security teams to enhance overall security posture

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations
• Experience with SIEM tools and intrusion detection systems
• Knowledge of common cyber threats and countermeasures

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
