About the role
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in Cyber, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining high-quality cybersecurity solutions. You will contribute to the strategic direction of our core cyber products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and business.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or cybersecurity
- Experience with cloud security technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- McLean, VA: $197,300 - $225,100 for Senior Lead Software Engineer
