About the Role

Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking an experienced CX Specialist to join our Salt Lake City team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience and with a strong background in the industrial and/or electrical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online inquiries.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders.
  • Support outside sales representatives and field service technicians with customer requests and project coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive, professional service.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts through consultative selling and proactive outreach.
  • Cook with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of EMC’s products, services, and capabilities to confidently recommend solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly while maintaining EMC’s commitment to exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the industrial and/or electrical industry.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, inside sales, technical support, customer success, or technical sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical products such as electric motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), generators, motor controls, pumps, rotating equipment, or similar industrial products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM and/or ERP software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Epicor, SharpSpring, or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
  • Experience supporting industrial service operations or electrical distribution.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or rotating equipment repair.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
