CWI UT Special Inspector

Responsibilities
- Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures following applicable codes and standards.
- Knowledge of industry health and safety procedures.
- Commitment to working safely at all times.
- Prepare accurate daily reports including description of work done, conclusions.
- Professionally interface with customers to address issues and solve problems.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a construction site environment, including at heights and in inclement weather.
- Lifting/carrying by weight (50 pounds) frequently may be required.
- Mobility such as reaching, kneeling/crawling, bending/crouching, and frequency/duration in which action is required.
- Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required.
Requirements
- CWI, UT IIPreferred certifications: MT II, PTII, PAUT, AMP I or IIOther experience/certifications in reinforced concrete, structural welding and bolting, other Special Inspection categories.
Qualifications
Core qualifications include a commitment to safety, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in similar roles is preferred.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, familiarity with relevant industry standards, and the ability to work in diverse environments.
