Responsibilities

  • Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures following applicable codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of industry health and safety procedures.
  • Commitment to working safely at all times.
  • Prepare accurate daily reports including description of work done, conclusions.
  • Professionally interface with customers to address issues and solve problems.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a construction site environment, including at heights and in inclement weather.
  • Lifting/carrying by weight (50 pounds) frequently may be required.
  • Mobility such as reaching, kneeling/crawling, bending/crouching, and frequency/duration in which action is required.
  • Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required.

Requirements

  • CWI, UT IIPreferred certifications: MT II, PTII, PAUT, AMP I or IIOther experience/certifications in reinforced concrete, structural welding and bolting, other Special Inspection categories.
