About the Role

This position is for our Adairsville Distribution Center on the 1st Shift. The Cut Order Fulfillment Operator plays a critical part in ensuring orders are fulfilled on time, meet quality standards, and are prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Review work orders, cut sheets, and production schedules to understand order requirements
  • Accurately measure, cut, and trim turf, padding, or related materials to specified dimensions
  • Operate cutting equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Inspect materials for quality, defects, and compliance with FieldTurf standards
  • Be certified and responsible for ensuring the cut table follows lock out tag out procedures when needed for cleaning or accessing rollers or under the cut table
  • Label, bundle, and stage completed orders for packing and shipment
  • Maintain accurate records of completed cuts, material usage, and order status
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of cutting tools and materials
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/lean manufacturing principles
  • Communicate issues such as material shortages, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors
  • Assist with loading, unloading, or other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to read measurements, blueprints, or cut specifications accurately
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using hand tools, cutting equipment, or industrial machinery a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with assistance when required
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and warehouse setting
