Job Description

Major Duty and Responsibilities:

  • Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing
  • Timely and Accurate Data Entry
  • Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting
  • Operations: Receive documents. Prepare customs entries in Exp.o Customs. Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems from LOG to DLV. Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments. Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements.
  • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
  • Meet and maintain KPI standards, as per department goals and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience2 years Customs Brokerage/Compliance experience preferred
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to type: 45wpm
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process oriented

Training Requirements

  • Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training

  • Shift (x4): Monday - Friday | 08:00am - 05:00pm
