Customer Support Specialist – Tempe, AZ

Allied Wire and Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is seeking Customer Support Specialists to join our team. This role thrives in a fast-paced, business-to-business environment where collaboration and communication drive success. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by onboarding new customers and managing day-to-day activities such as orders and post-sale transactions. After training, enjoy a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Tempe, AZ) and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Onboard all new customers
• Respond to customer inquiries with urgency and first-contact resolution
• Run order reports and work with customers to set expectations and resolve problems proactively
• Actively improve knowledge of company, products, markets, and systems
• Use continuous improvement methodology to enhance customer experience and drive process efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to support daily tasks and meet customer and business needs
• Contribute to individual and team goals/metrics
• Support phone coverage as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of Customer Service / Support experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
• Professional verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Ability to communicate with a diverse population
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Critical thinking and data-driven problem-solving skills
