About the role
Nellis Auction is an online auction company based in Katy, TX. The Customer Success team interacts directly with customers, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure. The role involves greeting customers, managing appointments, processing refunds, and assisting with load-out operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer professionally and courteously
- Schedule and manage pickup appointments as needed
- Process refunds and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Manage customer interactions to reflect Nellis Auction’s core values
- Load customer-purchased merchandise into vehicles safely and efficiently
- Verify outgoing orders for accuracy before release
- Operate handheld scanners or mobile devices to locate and confirm inventory
- Maintain organized merchandise racks and consolidation areas
- Communicate with the broader Customer Experience team for smooth pickups
- Aid with additional warehouse duties as directed
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Requirements
- Two or more years of customer service experience preferred
- One to two years of warehouse or customer-facing work experience
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and dependability
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions
- Bilingual candidates encouraged
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for shifts of 10 to 12 hours
- Bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in seasonal temperature extremes
- Vision capabilities necessary for order verification and safe loading
