Customer Solutions Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the most complex customer issues
• Partner closely with Customer Success Management for Enterprise/Strategic accounts
• Build a deep understanding of customers' business problems, technical requirements, and success criteria
• Support the customer lifecycle from initial engagement to ongoing support
• Understand the nuances of customer integrations and work with Sift’s data science team to ensure model health
• Meticulously whiteboard the flow of customer data to expand integrations
• Be the internal voice of the customer to drive critical solution changes and refinements
• Automate and optimize internal and external processes
• Write custom queries and scripts to calculate metrics and optimize recurring processes
• Automate tasks and take innovative approaches to problem-solving

What would make you a strong fit

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role
• Closely collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts
• Creative, coachable, collaborative, goal-oriented, and thoughtful
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Growth mindset - enjoys learning new skills and applying them to technical challenges
• Resourceful and proactive - investigates unusual situations and challenges the status quo
• Experience writing scripts and queries to build internal tools and data pulls (SQL, Python, Bash scripting)
• Comfort with APIs and web technologies
• Prioritize and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
• Thrive under pressure and enjoy clarifying ambiguous situations
