Performing Duties
- Performs duties related to delivery, set-up, installation and/or fitting of home medical equipment (HME).
- Ensures equipment is appropriate and safe for home use by the client/caregiver and instructs client/caregiver on use of equipment following manufacturer’s guidelines, regulatory standards, and home medical equipment policy/procedure.
- Affirms that the proper documentation is obtained from the client and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Schedule
List schedule requirements, hours, weekend and holiday requirements. Hours Day Shift. On call weekly, every 3 weeks (including weekends and holidays).

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and exercise good decision-making skills.
- Able to work with a diverse population of all age groups and in settings that may be less than desirable to the employee.
- Able to organize, prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes while maintaining efficiency and composure.
- Completes work in a timely and accurate manner.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current operator’s license with a good driving record.
- Knowledge or background in home medical equipment preferred.
