Customer Service Supervisor/Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator

About the Role

The Customer Service Supervisor/HR Designee (CSS/HR) coordinates quality care and customer service for clients by assigning appropriate staff, scheduling services, and resolving issues to achieve optimal outcomes. This role also supports the local branch in employee recruitment, screening, hiring, record-keeping, and compliance, performing various HR-related administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to the agreed plan of care for each client in your caseload.
  • Facilitate communication and serve as a liaison between the client’s circle of care, including family members, assigned Power of Attorney/spokesperson, guardians, community partners, and related agencies.
  • Monitor and escalate changes in client’s plan of care, services, or condition.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for agency payers.
  • Coordinate schedules to ensure adequate staffing and process completed visits for billing and payment.
  • Provide consultation and training to Direct Care Staff (Caregivers) to ensure quality care and service.
  • Support HR functions in employee recruitment, hiring, performance, retention, and compliance.
  • Process and review employment applications in the ATS to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants within identified timelines.
  • Coordinate or support new hire onboarding and employee exit meetings.
  • Assist with data management and file maintenance, including data entry and employee data upkeep in the HRIS.
  • Coordinate Personnel Action Forms (PAF) for assigned service site(s).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor ongoing file compliance and ensure all certifications/trainings are current and documented.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; some college coursework or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of community service, client service, or staffing experience.
  • Two or more years of general office and computer experience (e.g., Microsoft O365, scheduling, HRIT).
  • One to two years of Human Resources experience with high-volume recruiting preferred.
  • One to two years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Prior experience delivering services to the elderly, disabled, or developmentally disabled preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and manage confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working with the public in a friendly and professional manner.
  • General knowledge of employment laws, human resources processes and procedures, data entry, and client support services.
  • Minimal travel may be required.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
