About the role
The Customer Service Specialist II plays a crucial part in a growing team within a global organization. Their primary responsibility is to fulfill detailed customer inquiries to ensure Meissner exceeds client expectations. They interact with moderately complex customers, handle order entries, and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to address order-related inquiries.
- Escalate issues when necessary, both verbally and in writing.
- Review and assess the acceptability, accuracy, and completeness of purchase orders.
- Determine applicability of quotes, sales agreements, and discounts.
- Perform research to identify discrepancies and resolve them.
- Ensure correct documentation is attached to orders in all systems.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in the life sciences, medical device, or pharma industry, including order entry/order processing experience.
- Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume and highly technical environment with varying priorities, maintaining a high sense of urgency.
- Meticulous attention to detail required.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- A strong focus on fostering a great customer experience.

Pay
The base pay scale for this role is $23.44 - $28.39/hr, with actual pay varying depending on experience.

This is an on-site role based out of Meissner's headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
