About the role

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) seeks a Customer Service Specialist II to provide front-line information and assistance to customers, perform general office functions, and assist with processing agency mail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line information and assistance to customers, on the telephone, and in person.
  • Afford general office functions such as filing, mail/fax distribution, office supplies, and related duties.

Requirements

  • Three years’ work experience in general office work, or related experience, including at least one year experience using Word, and Excel.
  • Use of Document Imaging is preferred but not required.
  • Two years of mail processing, or equivalent clerical experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Washington state driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years’ work experience in general office work or related experience, including at least one year experience using Microsoft Word & Excel.

Skills

  • Basic to Expert proficiency with MS Office software to include MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
