About the role
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) seeks a Customer Service Specialist II to provide front-line information and assistance to customers, perform general office functions, and assist with processing agency mail.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-line information and assistance to customers, on the telephone, and in person.
- Afford general office functions such as filing, mail/fax distribution, office supplies, and related duties.
Requirements
- Three years’ work experience in general office work, or related experience, including at least one year experience using Word, and Excel.
- Use of Document Imaging is preferred but not required.
- Two years of mail processing, or equivalent clerical experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Washington state driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years’ work experience in general office work or related experience, including at least one year experience using Microsoft Word & Excel.
Skills
- Basic to Expert proficiency with MS Office software to include MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
