Customer Service Sales Support

Job Description

Aid customers in selecting appropriate parts using technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials. Verify part numbers by reviewing engineering drawings and BOMs. Work collaboratively with internal teams to address technical queries and customer needs. Generate quotes, handle orders, and offer technical sales support throughout the order process. Address customer inquiries regarding equipment, components, and replacement parts. Respond promptly to customer communications via email, text, and phone. Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and related issues. Meet proposal deadlines, fulfill customer requests, and meet internal sales and margin goals. Track the progression of parts through design, preparation, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Coordinate with internal departments like Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing to stay within projected timelines. Maintain pricing standards and margins for the master price list. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and organizational abilities. Possess a highly motivated attitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Prioritize technical aptitude, understanding of industrial equipment, and ability to read and interpret engineering documents. Familiarity with CAD modeling software and working knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product structures are advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail, are essential.

Technical Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to comprehend industrial equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product structures.
• Working knowledge of CAD/modeling software is preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and assembly methods.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both customers and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical experience or degree is a plus.
• Experience in Sales Support and Customer Service is preferred.
