Customer Service Representative- START ASAP $18/hr

Location: Chicago, IL (onsite 5 days per week, not remote). Duration: 4-month contract-to-hire with long-term growth opportunity.

About the role

We’re hiring Customer Service Specialists to support patients with home medical equipment and services. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients and healthcare providers
• Process orders, verify documentation, and schedule equipment deliveries
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and insurance coverage
• Review and enter information into EMR systems accurately
• Obtain pre-authorizations and verify insurance eligibility
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance processes (preferred)
• Customer-first mindset and attention to detail

Pay

$18/hr, paid weekly.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
