About the role
We are actively seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our Agency Manager in the Property and Casualty insurance business located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Agency Manager.
- Follow up with clients via phone, email, or text regarding outstanding documents.
- Ensure all appropriate forms are completed and submitted.
- Input client and policy data into our management system.
- Help maintain agency organization and task tracking.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain necessary information.
Key Duties
- Customer Service: Anticipate and understand clients’ insurance needs. Clearly present and explain insurance products and coverage options. Conduct fact-finding calls and assist with documentation.
- Inside Marketing: Support marketing efforts through digital and phone outreach. Help manage the current book of business. Assist with entering quotes and identifying cross-sell opportunities. Prepare the Agency Manager for client meetings.
Licensing and Compliance
- Stay up to date with industry regulations.
- Aid the Agency Manager in maintaining compliance standards.
- Maintain an active Property and Casualty license.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable handling communications via phone and online platforms.
