What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Collect on low-risk accounts to minimize the bank's delinquency rate
- Aid customers in understanding their financial obligations and provide guidance to limit losses
- Negotiate repayment options and offer applicable solutions to customers
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls regarding current and past due accounts
- Maintain proper documentation and account maintenance while ensuring quality assurance and productivity
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- A High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- A general understanding of collection management software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous collections experience
- Familiarity with inbound/outbound dialing environments
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- The ability to remain adaptable and resilient in various situations
