What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Collect on low-risk accounts to minimize the bank's delinquency rate
  • Aid customers in understanding their financial obligations and provide guidance to limit losses
  • Negotiate repayment options and offer applicable solutions to customers
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls regarding current and past due accounts

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • A general understanding of collection management software
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Previous collections experience
  • Familiarity with inbound/outbound dialing environments
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
