Customer Service Representative (3 Positions)

About the Role

Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking multiple Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to provide customer and facility support at Arlington Mill Community Center, Thomas Jefferson Community Center, and Walter Reed Community Center.

CSRs will assess customers’ needs, refer them to the appropriate program resources, and recognize and respond to emergency situations.

• Arlington Mill Community Center
  • Full-size gymnasium striped for basketball and pickleball
  • Multi-purpose rooms for programming and meetings
  • Senior center and teen lounge
  • Game room and fitness room
  • Esports Gaming Lounge
  • Two-story garage and home to two non-profit agencies
  • Outdoor amenities: multi-use plaza and small playground
• Thomas Jefferson Community Center (joint-use with Arlington Public School)
  • Large gymnasium with indoor track, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts
  • Auxiliary gym area and fitness room
  • Personal training area and free weight room
  • Arts studio and woodshop
  • Large multipurpose room and game room
  • Locker rooms, concession area, and stock room
  • Outdoor amenities: two synthetic multi-use fields, small playground, basketball, and tennis courts
• Walter Reed Community Center
  • Meeting rooms and multipurpose rooms
  • Game room and full-size gymnasium
  • 55+ Outdoor amenities: playground, sensory garden, basketball court, and dedicated pickleball courts (only ones in Arlington County)
