Customer Service Planner SSBO

About the Role

Implement, coordinate, and maintain a valid and realistic Master Production Schedule that supports the Business Operation’s Sales and Operations Plan and Customer Orders. Ensure effective communication between PCC’s customers and the manufacturing organization to facilitate on-time customer order delivery.

Responsibilities

• Master Scheduling
  • Monitor the master schedule, manufacturing capacity, material availability, lead time, customer order backlog, and delivery performance to identify changes, trends, or deviations.
  • Perform MPS system requirements for end items, including firming, submitting, and approving orders.
• Customer Service Support
  • Maintain and update committed ship dates for products and communicate them to sales, marketing, order entry, and the customer.
  • Represent PCC in customer meetings, both on-site and at the customer’s location.
  • Routinely communicate order status to the customer verbally and electronically (email).
• Master Schedule Maintenance
  • Manage customer delivery dates within capacity guidelines.
  • Recommend changes to part load profiles to the master scheduler.
  • Review master schedule reports, sales reports, and rough-cut capacity reports to balance the master schedule, manufacturing orders, and customer delivery dates.
  • Interface with the capacity and scheduling group regarding customer order progress and provide information to aid in setting shop priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of college in a business-related curriculum.
• Minimum four (4) years of related professional experience, with at least two (2) years in a planner, scheduler, or analyst position.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with VIS/VISTA/FOCUS is a plus.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
