Customer Service & Office Assistant

RCN Imports Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, customer-focused Customer Service & Office Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting customers, collaborating across teams, helping keep daily operations running smoothly, and contributing to company growth. What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day customer service and office operations
• Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Contact customers regarding orders and service needs, related updates, and additional product offerings
• Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and other purchasing support
• Schedule customer pick-ups and deliveries, coordinate outside trucking services
• Responsible for e-commerce and FedEx order processing, fulfillment, shipment coordination, supply management, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate customer sample requests and follow up as needed
• Share customer feedback and service updates with leadership
• Support general office operations and related tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must be proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Professional demeanor, dependable, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable personal transportation
• Authorization to work in the United States

Schedule

• Full-time, in-person
• Monday through Friday in our office in Edison, New Jersey
• 40 hours per week, willingness to work additional hours as needed

Physical Requirements

• Regular computer and office equipment use
• Frequent sitting, phone, and hand use
• Occasional walking, bending, and light lifting up to 25 pounds

Work Environment Note

This position works in a facility where nuts and grains are present. This role may not be suitable for individuals with related allergies or sensitivities; applicants should take this into consideration.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $27.00 per hour, based on experience
