About the role

Primary responsibilities include interpreting customer demand signal, loading customer demand into the LN ERP system, and working with production scheduling to drive operations to fulfill customer demand. Requires coordination with material requirements and operations teams to ensure a smooth, executable production schedule. Works with logistics to ship material to the customer and serves as the first point of contact with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Sales Orders/Schedules are input and correct
  • Maintain Sales Orders/Schedules based on customer request changes
  • Utilize MRC for collaborations to/from customers
  • System data entry, spreadsheet verification, and report analysis
  • Analyze customer demand and expectations
  • Support facility S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
  • CI (Continuous Improvement) card support
  • ERP system use and training for users
  • Communicate with customers as needed
  • Create and improve process documentation and standard work
  • Understand the process flows of the materials that support customer orders
  • Review customer shipping performance and lead time
  • Support initiatives to improve OPACC (Operational Performance) throughout the facility
  • Perform Safety Audits as required
  • Reporting as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of PC data entry
  • Knowledge of LN ERP Customer Service preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI) at an intermediate level
  • Ability to comfortably present to team members and other area leaders
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills
  • 25% shop floor time required; infrequent need to physically move material
  • Must be able to team lift up to 55 lbs. and push/pull up to 125 lbs.
