Customer Service / Inside Sales
About the role
Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) focused on theme parks in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves providing professional and timely support to the sales team and customers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns.
- Sourcing parts as needed.
- Aid in generating sales.
- Assist in the stockroom and deliver orders to customers as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year customer service or inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience.
- Industrial distribution or parts counter environment preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a sense of humor.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Computer knowledge including Excel. SAP/ERP experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Pay
The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $20.00 – 24.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $200 – 300 per month.
Schedule
This is a full time on-site position, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Great work / life balance!
