Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Santa Maria, CA.
This is a full-time on-site position, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay
The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $20.00 – 24.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $200 – 300 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns.
- Source parts.
- Assist in generating sales.
- Help in the stockroom as needed, deliver orders to customers as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year customer service or inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience.
- Industrial distribution or parts counter environment preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Computer knowledge including Excel. SAP/ERP experience a plus.
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR).
Additional Information
This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
