Customer Service Engineer - North Carolina
About the Role
Lumenis is a global medical technology company known for innovative, energy-based solutions and exceptional customer support. Our Field Service Engineers play a critical role in ensuring our technology performs reliably in clinical environments. This full-time position is based in Miami and requires 60%+ travel.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair company equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and performance
- Provide technical training and guidance to customers and end users
- Document service activities, findings, and recommendations accurately
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve product reliability
Requirements
- Degree or technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support roles
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to travel and work independently
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial, medical, or automation equipment (preferred)
- Knowledge of PLCs, networking, or control systems (preferred)
