Summary of Duties

• Field‑based, customer‑facing role that installs, services, and maintains Siemens medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Acts as the “Face of Siemens” to customers, supporting AT & XP modalities with potential cross‑training into other modalities.
• Flexible to work different shifts and on‑call rotations as business needs dictate, including overtime when required.
• Reports to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Healthineers.
• Remote work permitted.
• Daily travel to client sites in the Southern California area; occasional travel to other U.S. cities and international locations for additional training.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Field Service Technician, Electronics Technician, or a comparable occupation.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer networking.
• Strong understanding of X‑ray generation, image processing, image quality, human anatomy, and radiation‑safety principles.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex electromechanical and software issues.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and ensuring systems meet OEM specifications.
• Proficiency interpreting schematics, managing firmware updates, and integrating systems within hospital IT environments.
• Familiarity with OEM technical training, radiation‑safety certification, FDA regulations, and ISO 13485 compliance.
• Hands‑on experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic software.

$106,163 – $116,530 per year
