Customer Service Technician

Description Job Description: Young at Heart Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Technician. As a vital part of our customer service team, you will be responsible for ensuring prompt and professional handling of telephone requests, responding to and documenting incoming customer inquiries, and directing specific inquiries to the appropriate team or individual. Additionally, you will maintain a positive and pleasant demeanor with all callers while accurately fulfilling customer requests, and processing refill requests. Parent Owner Custom Health provides a comprehensive tech-enabled med management and managed care solution resulting in 98% medication adherence for our patients across the United States and Canada. Operations are powered by proprietary software which orchestrates fully automated owned and network pharmacies, at-home medication management solutions, real-time clinical oversight by 200+ pharmacist-lead clinicians and the collection of real-time, real-world data and insights. Responsibilities Handle telephone requests promptly and professionallyRespond to and document incoming requests from customersDirect specific inquiries to the appropriate team or individualMaintain a positive and pleasant demeanor with all callersFulfill customer requests accuratelyProcess refill requests and STAT orders as neededResearch disposition of drug orders quickly and accuratelyAct as a liaison between the pharmacy and the facilityAct as a point of contact for customer inquiriesContact facility as needed to clarify faxed requestsInform facility of items in upcoming cycle (preliminary packing slips)Communicate with physician offices verbally or electronically to professionally obtain prescriptionsCommunicating with employees, patients, caregivers, and physicians by phone, fax, and email in a courteous and professional mannerPerform other duties as assigned Requirements Required: Active Pharmacy Tech In Training license from the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy required before Day 1 of employment1 year of customer service experience Efficient use of Microsoft Suite products Preferred Active Pharmacy Technician license from the Indiana State Board of PharmacyExperience using Framework and DocuTrack are a plus
