Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs, and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Ensure tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed, and document tool and test usage on eFSR.
- Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Mentor other Customer Service Engineers on all competencies and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in using tools and service test equipment, capable of working individually and in teams.
- Proficiency in network applications and tools (e.g., eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
- Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for installation, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.
- 2-3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
- Must demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and resource management; strong competency in instrument systems technology to include mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Pay
The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $58,240 - $80,080. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

M-F 8 am – 5 pm

Qualifications
To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).
Skills
- Familiarity with medical DX Equipment servicing, preventative maintenance, and modifications.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining business relationships with customers and peers.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
