Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences.
  • Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment for repayment of debts.
  • Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
  • Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone, also talk with customers at payment window.
  • Miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters.
  • Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers.
  • Negotiate repayment with consumers by form of payment in full, settlements and/or payment arrangements and ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all company, client, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Strict attention to detail and the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work load.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer equipment and systems including MS Office.
