Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences.
- Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment for repayment of debts.
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
- Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone, also talk with customers at payment window.
- Miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters.
- Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers.
- Negotiate repayment with consumers by form of payment in full, settlements and/or payment arrangements and ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all company, client, state, and federal regulations.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Strict attention to detail and the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work load.
- Maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer equipment and systems including MS Office.
