Customer Service / Barista

About the role

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Client Service Specialist / Counter Service with a proactive, dynamic approach. The position involves providing customers with a consistent, best-in-class experience from the moment they enter the shop to the moment they leave.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and maintain inventory levels at all times
• Ensure the consistent cleanliness and polished appearance of the shop
• Take and fill special orders
• Manage online order fulfillment in a timely manner while maintaining high-touch presentation
• Participate in French Pastry customer training

Qualifications

• High-touch client services, customer service, and communication skills
• Genuine enjoyment of people contact—high interaction position
• Ability to maintain consistently high customer satisfaction and resolve complaints
• Experience using POS systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask under pressure, and maintain a light-hearted, customer-focused approach
• Consistent attention to cleanliness and clutterless organization per upscale standards
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying business needs and tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in the food or hospitality industry is not required but is a plus
