Customer Service Administrator Logistics

Logistics Coordination & Support

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials and products in and out of the facility. You’ll support logistics, transportation, and customs processes by maintaining accurate documentation, inputting key data, and coordinating with production teams and shipping providers. Your attention to detail and organization will help drive efficient operations and compliance.

Support Logistics, Transportation, and Customs Processes

• Track shipments inbound and outbound, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Interact with transportation providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Support logistics and customs functions in accordance with applicable laws and procedures

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and health regulations.
• Follow all procedures outlined in the company’s security policy.
• Ensure secure and compliant handling of shipments and documentation.

Billing and Invoicing

• Compare tariffs to carrier invoices accurately.
• Prepare, adjust, and verify pre-bill documents before invoicing the customer.
• Enter data accurately into systems for tracing and invoicing shipments.
• Apply proper carrier charges and revenue, validating all charges on invoices.

Skills & Abilities

• Manage multiple projects and work on a tight time frame.
• Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) both internally with all levels of the organization and externally with clients.
• Proactively and independently resolve complex issues demonstrating technical aptitude.

Education & Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in logistics is preferred for domestic and international transportation.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Billing and invoicing experience is a plus.
