About the role
The Customer Service Administrator position involves high-impact administrative and operational support to the Evansville service team. This role should excel in providing excellent customer service, scheduling daily service calls, and coordinating requests for estimates. This position plays a critical role in supporting field execution, handling customer inquiries efficiently, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and serve as the first point of contact for customers.
- Schedule service calls and estimates for plumbing services.
- Communicate scheduling updates to technicians and customers.
- Provide general support to field technicians as needed.
- Aid the Accounting team as needed and maintain accurate records.
- Aid technicians with administrative needs to keep jobs moving.
- Provide direct administrative support to the Evansville Leadership team.
- Complete special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Verification of correct customer data transfer from scheduling portal to QuickBooks
- Understanding of QuickBooks customer file to edit customer information if necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of customer service experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or field services environment preferred.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management portals.
- Proficient in QuickBooks - accounting experience preferred.
- Quick learner with a positive "can do" attitude.
- Ability to type and navigate multiple systems quickly.
